TEXTURES: Fourth Video Update From Recording Studio Available
January 25, 2008Dutch progressive metallers TEXTURES entered Split Second Sound studio last month to begin recording their new album for an early 2008 release. The production duties are being handled by the group's guitarist Jochem Jacobs, who also oversaw the recording process for TEXTURES' last CD, "Drawing Circles". The band expects to be done recording, mixing and mastering by the end of January, to be followed by an April 5, 2008 appearance at the Sandstorm festival in Leuven, Belgium.
The fourth video update from the recording studio can be viewed below.
Commented the group: "At the moment we are in the final stages of the recordings and everything is going amazing. We are very pleased as to how everything is going and we can't wait to let you hear the new album, but unfortunately we need to wait a bit, but we promise you this is going to be a fuckin' killer album!
"Next week we will have more news on the album and we will announce our first live dates and festivals for this spring, but we can already say we will be playing more around Europe than ever before (and who knows we might be able to tour outside of Europe this year as well)!"
"Drawing Circles" was released in April 2006 via France's Listenable Records.
The band's self-produced debut CD, "Polars", was originally issued through the group's own label and was later re-released through Listenable.
